The Jamunkhadi Wetlands are a wetland conservation initiative in eastern Nepal located in the Kankai Municipality of Jhapa District.
It was decided to construct it inside the community forest as a tourist destination in Wards 2 and 5 of Surunga VDC). It covers an area of about 10 hectares in a 25-hectare forest reserve and is located about one kilometer from the East-West Highway.
Every day, around 5,000 domestic visitors visit Jamunkhadi. The Jamunkhadi local people and those living in the surrounding area utilize this wetland as a picnic site. The wetland is home to a variety of animals, including deer, pangolins, leopards, and porcupines. A peaceful boat ride on Lake Jamunkhadi will provide you with an insight into the natural ecosystem of the fauna.

Satakshi Dham is commonly referred to as the "second Janakpurdham." This sacred location comes alive during the Hindu holiday of Bala Chaturdashi, when people pay tribute to family members and relatives who died the previous year.
Ponds, gardens, and caves—Pandav Bagaicha, Pandav Yagyakunda, Draupadi Talau, and Parbati Gufa—can be found at the site. Satakshi Dham is located in the Shivasatakshi Municipality, 38 kilometers northwest of the Bhadrapur Airport in Chandragadi and 30 km from the Siddhartha Grand city Hotel.
